Summer School 2022

summer school 2022 partners - epg

Established in 2018, the EPG Summer School Smart Transformation in the Energy Sector offers graduate and post-graduate training and other educational activities on a wide range of energy-related areas.

It is targeted for master and PhD students and for young professionals (max. 5 years of experience) interested in or studying/working in the energy sector or related fields (e.g. economics, law, political science, environmental studies, etc.).

The goal of the program is to equip students and professionals with the appropriate tools to better analyze the energy sector and its complex interconnections with the climate system and the natural resources industries.

In an intensive five-day program, the summer school offers insight into the challenges faced by today’s energy sector and the impacts of different prospective solutions. Through seminars and lectures, more than 20 speakers (reputed scholars, international experts, and practitioners from leading energy companies) explore critical questions on future of energy markets.

The summer school is also a great opportunity to debate, interact, and build a sense of community that can afterwards facilitate a cross-disciplinary and cross-border collaboration to deploy the energy transition goals.

Target group: master/PhD students and for young professionals (max. 35 years old), interested in or studying/working in the energy sector or related fields (e.g. economics, law, political science, environmental studies, etc.). 25 places are available for each edition of EPG Summer School.
