Agora Energiewende develops evidence-based and politically viable strategies for ensuring the success of the clean energy transition in Germany, Europe and the rest of the world.
University of Bucharest
Within the University, there are over 50 research institutes, departments and centres, most of them collaborating with similar scientific centres abroad. University of Bucharest is considered to be the most important educational, research and cultural institution in Romania. During its 150 years of existence, it has achieved a steadfast national and international prestige.
InfoClima
InfoClima aims to improve the quality of public discourse on climate change in Romania, encouraging researchers and scientists to communicate to the general public the results of research in the field and their relevance to our society. In this age of information abundance, it is imperative that the debate about the most important process of the century be an accurate one, based on scientific arguments and empirical evidence. InfoClima platform is supported by the European Climate Foundation.
Tespam
Turkish Energy Strategies and Politics Research Center (TESPAM), was established in 2005 with the aim analyze and propose energy policy in Turkey. The main goal of the organization is to liaise with all relevant actors across the country, such as NGOs, universities and private sector.
Sandbag
Sandbag is a UK-based not-for-profit think tank conducting research and campaigning for environmentally effective climate policies. Our research focus includes reform of the EU Emissions Trading Scheme, the EU 2020 and 2030 climate & energy packages, Carbon Capture Storage & Utilisation, and the persistence of old coal in Europe. The International Centre for Climate Governance ranks us in the top twenty global climate think tanks.
The Energy Forum
The Energy Forum is one of the largest conferences devoted to energy problems in Poland and Central Europe. It is organised by the Warsaw-based Institute for Eastern Studies – an independent non-governmental organization committed to improving cooperation between the countries of Central and Eastern Europe – and its partners. Each year, it gathers around 600 participants. It is worth emphasising that the Energy Forum attracts a significant number of representatives of foreign companies and institutions from the energy sector, which makes it unique and one of the most important events of its kind in the CEE region. During the Energy Forum important declarations with respect to the energy sector are made, new investment initiatives and business contacts are established.
Start Up Energy Transition
Start Up Energy Transition (SET) is an international platform supporting innovation in energy transition powered by the German Energy Agency (dena) in cooperation with the World Energy Council. It is comprised of the annual SET Award, SET Tech Festival and a global network. The initiative brings together the most outstanding international start-ups in the field of energy together with key stakeholders in the energy sector.
