Daria Sorescu

Clean Economy Intern

Daria works as an Intern in the Clean Economy Department, with a focus on Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS). Studying for a Bachelor’s in International Relations and European Studies at the University of Bucharest, she is interested in the EU legislative framework, particularly on sustainability, just transition and climate security.

Previously, Daria served as a NEXT Global Ambassador at ISPI – Istituto per gli Studi di Politica Internazionale, where she engaged in leadership and diplomacy initiatives, while participating in discussions on global issues. She also completed internships at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania in the Diplomatic Archives and at the Romanian Senate in the Committee for Education, gaining valuable insights into archival research and legislative processes.
