Vlad Surdea-Hernea

Vlad is enrolled in the Master of Public Policy programme at the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin, where he specializes in climate and energy policy. He further collaborates with the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK) for his dissertation on the distributional impacts of carbon pricing in Eastern Europe.

Vlad holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Bucharest, as well as further certificates from Sciences Po and the University of Amsterdam. Currently, he works as a quantitative analyst for eclareon GmbH and as a research assistant at the Hertie School of Governance.
