Carbon-Free Europe is an initiative to model the pathways for decarbonising Europe’s energy system. As part of this initiative, the project is conducting deep dives into certain Member States. EPG is supporting the deep dive into Romania, by providing insights and data for the national-level Carbon-Free Europe model and, in the future, developing policy briefs and supporting stakeholder engagement with national authorities on the topic of decarbonisation trajectories, including a specific focus on hydrogen and carbon capture and storage.
